Winter Skeet League

The Winter Skeet league begins when we set our clocks back for daylight savings time at the end of October and runs until we set our clocks forward again around the end of March. This league runs for approximately 22 weeks.  We shoot 50 targets at night under the lights.  Rain, sleet, wind or snow does not deter this group.  We offer good competition for those who like it or laidback, non-competitive shooting for those who just like to shoot and have fun.  A nominal fee to join pays for our banquet, prizes and trophies at the end of the season.

Skeet Shooting

Watervliet Fish and Game offers skeet shooting year round.  Skeet is shot every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning, starting around 9:00am and running till 1:00pm (as long as our volunteers are able to open).  Shooters of all levels are welcome.

During the months of November through March, the Winter Skeet league is held every Wednesday night and shot under the lights.  You are also welcome to join us on Wednesday nights. Please note, however, that it takes much longer to shoot due to the large numbers of league members.

Please direct any questions you may have to the Skeet Chairman.
